Eric's little messy face after his breakfast of carrots, broccoli, apple, celery, cauliflower, and sprouts.
Remember - Birds are suspicious little creatures. Repetition is they key to getting them onto a healthy, assorted diet. After seeing the food item enough times they WILL try it. . . after they figure out you're not trying to poison them.
Eric just looks cute with a messy beak!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately our 'tiel became so picky, that we have to cheat her when food is on the table.
(Or spoiled is a better word...)
Haha it warms my heart to see such a messy cockatiel beak! When I give my guys red palm oil Iggy gets it all over her entire face!
ReplyDeleteMack's beak gets so messy when he eats his fruit mash that I have to pull it off for him - and when I take it off, it's like a mould of his beak! One, solid, curved piece of dried fruit mash that he's just dying to eat all over again!
ReplyDelete(Since I've only had a 'tiel for a couple of months, I guess it's ok for me to comment on this post several months late!)
Ha! Ha!
